XScopes Xminilab and Xprotolab

The XScopes Xminilab and Xprotolab are a combination of three electronic instruments: a mixed signal oscilloscope, an arbitrary waveform generator, and a protocol sniffer; all housed in a small breadboard friendly module. The XScopes can also be used as development boards for the AVR XMEGA microcontroller.

Mixed Signal Oscilloscope: Simultaneous sampling of 2 analog and 8 digital signals. Meter Mode: VDC, VPP and Frequency readout. Arbitrary Waveform Generator with advanced sweep options on all the wave parameters. Spectrum Analyzer with different windowing options and selectable vertical log and IQ visualization.

uClinux - Embedded Linux Microcontroller

The original uClinux was a derivative of Linux 2.0 kernel intended for microcontrollers without Memory Management Units (MMUs). However, the Linux/Microcontroller Project has grown both in brand recognition and coverage of processor architectures

Today's uClinux as an operating system includes Linux kernel releases for 2.0 2.4 and 2.6 as well as a collection of user applications, libraries and tool chains.

The Linux/Microcontroller project is a port of Linux to systems without a Memory Management Unit (MMU).

Pronounced "you-see-linux", the name uClinux comes from combining the greek letter "mu" and the english capital "C". "Mu" stands for "micro", and the "C" is for "controller". uClinux first ported to the Motorola MC68328: DragonBall Integrated Microprocessor.

The first target system to successfully boot is the PalmPilot using a TRG SuperPilot Board with a custom boot-loader created specifically for our Linux/PalmPilot port.

The module has been tested with a port of RTLinux 0.9J. A copy of an early oscilloscope tracing can be found on the uCsimm Real-time port page

The PICList -Schematics and Code

The PICList is a collection of people interested in the Microchip PIC and other similar processors who have requested that email sent to the PICList email address be forwarded to them. From the mass mind of these people the following have grown:

The PICList -Schematics and Code

PIC 18F4550 USB 16F877A IO RS232 Eval Board

PIC 18F4550 USB 16F877A IO RS232 Eval Board

The design is essentially a double evaluation board for the chips 18F4550 and 16F877A. It contains also a MAX232A serial module having two transmitters and two receivers with the ability to connect either to 4550 or 877 microcontroller. Each microcontroller port ends up to a pin header in order to give interconnection capabilities to the board for future experiments.
