Automatic Integrated Circuit Modeling Spice

Automatic Integrated Circuit Modeling Spice

Automatic Integrated Circuit Modeling Spice (AIM-Spice) is a version of SPICE, the most popular analog circuit simulator.

AIM-Spice is a new version of SPICE running under the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. AIM-Spice for Windows is capable of displaying graphically the results of a simulation in progress, a feature that allows the operator to terminate a run based on an instant information on intermediate simulation results.

SPICE - The simulator was developed at the University of California, Berkeley, and was first released in 1972. Many scientists at Berkeley and other institutions contributed to the development and improvement in subsequent versions of SPICE.

Cirrus Logic - DSP - SOC Analog and Mixed

Cirrus Logic - DSP - SOC Analog and Mixed

Cirrus Logic is recognized worldwide for its expertise in developing high-precision analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) for a broad range of consumer and industrial markets. The most respected brands in the audio and industrial markets such as Bose, Harman International, IO, Onkyo, Marantz, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer, Samsung and Sony rely on Cirrus Logic technology.

Founded in 1984 with headquarters in Austin, Texas, Cirrus Logic is fabless.

Cirrus Logic - Wikipedia

In the early 1990s, Cirrus Logic was a leading supplier of low-cost PC graphics chips. Cirrus's Microsoft Windows 2D GUI accelerators (GDI) were among the fastest in the low-end market-segment, outperforming competing VGA-chips from Oak Technologies, Trident Microsystems, and Paradise (Western Digital). For example, the Cirrus GD5422 (1992) supported hardware acceleration for both 8-bit color and 16-bit color. It was one of the lowest-priced SVGA controllers to support both.
